Videos FAQ
So how do I see your videos?
- Linux
If you’re using Linux, first off, good for you. So far there is no official Linux Divx Web Player. Divx states there is one coming soon. However, there is a Divx codec for Linux, so you can download my videos from the main directory, and then play them. Alternately, you can use VLC and VLC mozilla plugin to play it. That method will also work with Mac and Windows. VLC is a great program, and it’s good to have even if you don’t use it for Divx. I also believe Mplayer will play these files, and there is a good mozilla plugin for Mplayer too.
- Mac
If you’re using Mac, just download the Mac Divx Web Player.
- Windows
If you’re using Windows, simply download the Divx Web Player. Someone told me they downloaded it, and RealPlayer was trying to play the files. If this is the case, either (1) Uninstall RealPlayer or (2) change your file associations.
